The journey towards self-discovery if often accompanied by pain and loneliness. We may feel overwhelmed by emotions and get stuck in unhealthy patterns that we struggle to recognize. We need someone who will sit with us in our pain and darkness without judgment. The path of self discovery involves acknowledging and integrating different parts of ourselves so we can find our own way and our own truths.

I am dedicated to helping clients accept and tolerate the discomfort and pains that are a normal part of the human experience. By working with me, you will gain deeper insight into your patterns and valuable tools to cultivate self-regulation. By increasing self-awareness, we create greater self-compassion and understanding, which ultimately results in a happier, healthier life.

Approaches and Services

Somatic & Mindfulness

Somatic awareness is the practice of paying attention to physical sensations within the body and emphasizes the connection between body and mind. Mindfulness is the practice of being present and aware of our thoughts and emotions.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma is created when emotionally overwhelming events cause a person to become ‘stuck’ in their response to the event. I use an integrative approach to healing with Hakomi, mindfulness, and somatic awareness.

Attachment Theory

Human beings need meaningful and healthy connections with others in order to thrive. Explore your past and current relationships in therapy to gain relief from emotional pain.
